Weekly Blog Work-Le 16 -19 Dec.--
Since we have the JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT performances this week and many of our students are in the play and the fact that it's the week before the winter break, we won't have blog work for this week. We will continue in the New Year! Please check the devoirs and annonces section to see what needs to be done this week. Remember to continue with your Fantasy Football.
Last week we decided as a class that we would do two special things over the last week of school. The first is Secret Santa (there is a 5 dollar limit), make sure you don't tell anyone who you got so it can actually be a SECRET! You are not obligated to purchase anything but may write them a special note, card or do something nice for them. We will reveal our secret Santas Thursday morning.
Second, to celebrate the holiday season, each student will be receiving special compliments from their peers!
Each student must do both of the following activities to prepare for this project:
*Using the class set of compliment cards provided, each student needs to write one or more reasons why each student is a gift to our class (I will put a class list at the bottom of this post). Be creative! Think of specific things you can compliment. I recommend doing a few students each night to avoid the last minute rush! We've already done three in class.
*Decorate a small box with wrapping paper. The box must be able to open, so please keep this in mind when wrapping it. Also, please be sure to write your name on your box.
As you pass out the compliments you’ve written, your box will begin to fill up with wonderful reasons why you are an important person in the eyes of your peers. What a nice way to celebrate all of the wonderful gifts in our classroom!
Class list:
Ben, Chloe, Madison,Megan K., Brenden, Jake, David,Cole, Molly, Emerson
Megan A., Ethan, Reagan,Taya, Ashley,Bailey, Will, Kyle, Katie, Alexis M., Maile,
Andrew, Noah, Clare, Emily, Abbey,Alexis Y., Jack
