Instead of doing a test for the Data Management unit, both grades had ample class time to work on a project that incorporated everything we learned during this unit. What did you think about the project? Do you prefer doing projects over tests? Why or why not? What did you learn while completing this project? If you had the chance to go back and change something what
I liked doing this project because it was fun to see what shots David Beckham took over the years and if he did better or worse through out the years. I would rather do a project way better than a test because its funner (yes its not a word i know) and because in a way i find it easier to do rather than a test. I learned that David Beckham shots went hire through the years of playing also to go from then till now on your diagrams. If i could go back and change something it would probably more neat and to make sure that it was proper and make sure that i dont put then and then now.

I liked doing the project because it's something you don't have to study for and get worked up about cause you can always look in your book for help. Yes I do prefer projects over tests because they are more fun to do and less stressful. While completing this project I learned that our grade 6/7 on the French sides favourite social networking app is Instagram. If I had the chance to go back and change something it would probably be to make it more neat and organized.

I like doing projects because I fell independent and I feel like I have to get my own specific information for my own project and topic. I'm not a big fan of tests because I'm scared that I'm going to do really bad on the so I like projects better then tests

I did really like doing this project because I got to work with my friends and ask them questions on what their favorite type of gum was. It was fun and exciting to do this project with Megan. Data management is one of my favorite things and math and going around to survey people was fun!
I do perfer doing projects over tests but it also depends on the unit. I like projects when the unit is harder so you can have more time to understand it and with a partener you can share what you know. As where tests are for the units not as challenging because there is more pressure on you on a test than a projetc in my opinion.
I learned that more grade 6/7 students in french imersion like the gum Juicy Fruit the most and Excel, stride and double bubble were the least favorited with the totals of 5 people.
If I could go back and chage something, I would change our bar graph and the way we presented it because I don't think we count by the best number for our graph.

I liked this project because we where able to show all that we knew about data management instead of a few questions about given topics. I like doing projects because you get to show all that you know about this topic instead of showing a few things about the given subject. I learned to take my time about things instead of rushing through it. If I could go back and change something I would probably change my bar graph and take more time on it.

I really liked doing this project because it is fun getting to work with a partner that has a lot of the same ideas as you. We got to show what else we knew about data management in a bigger and more organized way.
I enjoy projects over tests because while doing a project you can use lots of colors and take your time to truly express all the facts you know or ideas you make of come up with in a way that is better then anything thing you could do during a timed test.
If i could of changed something i would of bought some stuff to decorate my poster a bit more, to make it more vibrant and colorful, and i would of made my graph and charts a little bit more artistic.

I thought our project was much more fun than if we had a test. I prefer projects because there is much less pressure when doing projects than studying and doing tests. Projects also allow me to be more creative

I like doing projects because you can express yourself by the way that you do your project wether it's a poster or a packet. They allow me to be more creative.I learned that I survived a pretty long time on friday then I didn't survive that long and at the end I survived for a really long time.(P.S. I'm the one that did how long can I survive for on minecraft hardcore just to let you know.)If I could go back and change something I would have put on a poster I just didn't think I had enough time to put it on a poster.

I enjoy working with partners because if one of is is not there on that day of school at least 1 person should be able to work on the project. I think mine and Noah's project was pretty good we put a lot of effort and worked really hard. I perfer doing projects over test because it is not near as stresfull and we can have our on ideas on things. I learned that grade 6,7,8 kids in french emersion at Lakeshore discovery like Detroit tigers for there most favoured Detroit pro sports franchise. If I could change one thing it would be to put wore design in to the doodles on the outside.

I enjoyed doing the math project instead of a test because when you do a test you have to study hard for a couple of days, which is not fun! When we did this project we were able to be more creative and choose things we wanted to do. We were able to choose our favourite sport and athlete to find out real information about them instead of doing boring questions from a textbook. I learned that you can use data management to look at real life examples in sports. If I was to change something about my project I would change my college player to an NBA player because they play longer than 4 years and my graphs would have had more information. For example my bar graph would have more than 4 bars.

I prefer doing projects because i get all nervous on a test and just freak out and i know what i' m putting down on the test! Projects are easier for me because i like to express my work using color and typing things out so it's neat!

I liked doing this project. I thought it was a fun way to show what we learned, and interacted with one another.
I prefer doing projects over tests, because, tests can be really stressful, and difficult to study for. But with a project, you can have everything with you while working, and don't have to worry about forgetting something you need to know. Plus, when doing projects, in this case we had a partner, which I prefer because, you don't have to struggle doing everything by yourself. Also, when doing a project, you can have a wider variety of choices. In this case, you could choose your survey question, to make it something your interested in, unlike a test.
I learnt a lot about what other people my age think about social networking apps. Because, my question was "Whats the most popular social networking app for grade 6 and 7's on the French side?", so instead of just knowing my opinion, I heard many other opinions and learnt what others think.
I wouldn't change much if I was able to go back and change something. I would just want to be more organized, and plan everything out much better. Instead of having to hurry at the end.

i really liked this project because we got to communicate with our class mates and it was a lot of fun. Yes i do prefer projects over tests because tests you have to cram ever thing in your brain to remember it but for projects you can look at your notes and put down the right information. in this project i learned that the most popular gum in 6/7 french immersion classes is juicy fruit .
If i could change anything i would change our picto graph i didnt really like the way we did it and i would like to change that .

Sorry but I did not really like this project I don't like to have due dates. I like tests because they are all just at one time not over an amount of time and I am alot more organized and do better on them. I like studying for tests because it is very simple and esy. If I could do anything to change what I handed in I would like for it to be neater like Chloe ,Molly ,Maddi and Megan.

I like both tests and projects. Tests are easy to study for because you just learned the unit. Projects like this this are fun because you get to see the stats of sports players.

I really enjoyed doing this project for data management and I had a lot of fun working with Bailey. Although, tests require less time they're not as fun as projects. I like doing projects a lot but if we have to do it again I prefer doing projects at home and on my own (no offense to Bailey). It's not that I don't like to work with a partner.I love working with partners but for smaller things that only take a day to complete.I like to work by myself at home because thats where I get most work done in the shortest amount of time. Of course I get much work done at school but I find that it's a bit distracting. With that, I can't really be focused on my work.
All I'm saying is that I get most work done at home or when I'm listening to music. So next time we're assigned a project, I'd like it to be an individual project that we can work on at home.
